Complete interior refurbishment of Duplex Apartment, including spiral staircase upgrade.

The existing property was fit for purpose but the interior lacked any real quality or style. Our brief was to create a high end, bespoke interior with a masculine vibe and to upgrade a dated spiral staircase that sat in the centre of the entrance hall between levels but lacked any quality finishes.

We appointed The Property Framework and together with their in-house joinery team, we completely stripped back the property to the concrete floor and walls, allowing new partitions to form the new spaces. With the attention to detail required, their talented joiners worked alongside Bespoke Architects + Interiors to completed refurbish the entire apartment. The kitchen needed to work around an existing curved wall, so Bespoke Solid Surfaces were brought in provide the bespoke Krion worktop, with splashback moulded to the curved form. A bright red smeg fridge is positioned at the end of the units to brighten the whole space up with a retro vibe.

The spiral staircase was completed re-clad in plasterboard linings, plastered and painted white, with Bespoke Solid Surfaces also appointed to re-clad the existing treads in white Krion. The whole structure was strengthened and the result is a beautifully bespoke sculptural form, creating an immediate ‘wow’ feature when you enter the property from either level. Bespoke lighting over lights up the clean lines, highlighting the sculptural curved lines.

Fitments and furnishings were sourced by Bespoke Interiors with a dark colour palette to create the masculine style sought by the Client. Dark Grey Newport Wall + Flooring were selected in the bathroom, with Anthracite grout and trims and a bespoke concealed toilet brush. Everything was to the Client’s exacting standards and expectations.

Fabulous Copper radiators were chosen from Eskimo to compliment the Dark walls in Railings by Farrow + Ball, and Serge Mouille replica wall lighting creating a feature for work spaces and dressing areas. The wardrobes was fitted out in bespoke cabinetry formed in egger board.

The result is a stunning, high end interior with quality, bespoke fittings throughout, creating an enviable bijoux des res, with feature sculptural staircase, providing an enjoyable experience between this split level apartment.
