Whole House Refurbishment and Extension of large detached villa, and associated coach house on outskirts of Eaglesham Village.
Traditional Victorian Villa, dating from 1883, in need of complete modernisation. The clients design brief was to ‘Transform this stunning victorian sandstone villa into our forever dream home which incorporates the needs of today’s family life whilst still preserving and enhancing the original features and style of the house with touches of modern elegance and luxury’
Together we sought to bring this property into the 21st Century addressing the needs for their modern day living requirements as well as refurbishing the entire property to a high standard to create a boutique style interior using a neutral palette, incorporating bespoke joinery, refurbishment of the period features and integration of high end modern finishes.
A ‘glass box’ extension to the rear, allowed the property to be increased to provide a large open plan, kitchen, dining, family room with separate Utility room, to allow them to entertain, socialise and enjoy one space as a growing family with connection to the manicured, south facing garden. The new space is flooded with light with full height glazing wrapping round the extension and a rooflight above the kitchen.
