Extension of a rural farmhouse, located in East Ayrshire on the outskirts of Glasgow. The one and a half storey extension, allows a new kitchen area, open to the existing lounge and forming a master suite above.
Substantial structural alterations, to create a new opening to the existing, removing the original thick stone and rubble walls. A void overlooks the new kitchen / dining space from above, connecting the master bedroom.
Full refurbishment of the traditional farmhouse, in a collaboration between Client / Architect to create a contemporary scandi style interior with a vintage twist with the owners beloved antiques integrated into the interior design.
