Alterations + refurbishment of traditional Old Coach House, originally serving grand villa behind, in the Old Bearsden Conservation Area.

The original coach house retained a certain charm, but a previous extension to the rear of the property created a disappointing large sitting room with dated interior.  We originally took this project as our own, subsequently developed to sell by re-modelling the interior to create a generous master en-suite and inserting new glazing to the previous dated extension we re-located the kitchen to the new space to allow better connection with the garden and views to the surrounding woodland.

Full house refurbishment was required to upgrade electrics, heating, plumbing and ventilation as well as strip back years of dated wallpaper, flooring, tiling and fittings.

The end result was a charming, understated, modernised version of the original coachhouse, with an updated extension with a modern contemporary interior, creating a new family home.
